Description
I titled this piece Tranquil because what could be more tranquil than a meadow with clouds floating lazily overhead? This was the first attempt at painting clouds that I ended up pleased with the results. It instantly finished the piece and began my quest to master painting cloud formations.
There are many such meadows like this on a route I travel nearly every day. It feels so peaceful to me that I can take a deep breath and bring the tranquilness of that meadow and those clouds along with me for the rest of my day.
Tranquil is an original 4”x6” piece in the Clouds for the Sky collection (you can learn more about the collection here). Acrylic paint on cradled wood with 3/4” unfinished wood sides. Because this piece is painted on wood you will see the texture of the wood showing through. This piece comes unframed and can be hung as is, stand-alone, or framed in a floater frame (frame not included but if you would like suggestions for framing, contact me, I’m happy to help!). Each work is signed by the artist and a certificate of authenticity is included.
