I went cloud chasing. For reals. I saw the clouds moving, creating more and more clouds, swirling with different colors from the sun streaming through and I hurriedly left the kids with my husband at home and went on a cloud quest to get some photos of what I was seeing with the intent to paint them later. The light of the day was at its best and I got plenty of photos before it started to dump buckets of rain. This cloud chasing? It might become a thing for me!
This painting makes me think of the verse from Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God” and so I gave it the name Glory.
At 8”x10” this is the largest original piece in the Clouds for the Sky collection (you can learn more about the collection here). Acrylic paint on cradled wood with 1 ½” unfinished wood sides. Because this piece is painted on wood you will see the texture of the wood showing through. This piece comes unframed and can be hung as is, stand-alone, or framed in a floater frame (frame not included but if you would like suggestions for framing, contact me, I’m happy to help!). Each work is signed by the artist and a certificate of authenticity is included.
